The bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Then that means God is touched by the wonderful works done by WOMEN TO CHANGE THEIR COMMUNITIES IN BECOMING A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL.

God created woman for a reason, they are irreplacable and the warmenst of all beings. They are strong and can survive all difficult situations. We as women must embrace our feminity and know that wherever we are, God placed us there for a reason and to make a difference to the next person's life. Thank God I'm a woman.

And God said, I'll make a woman
A woman of substance
A woman of pride
A woman who is able to put
Petty things aside
A woman of integrity
A woman of love
A woman who is worthy
of the treasures from above
A woman who is genuine
A leader in every way

This poem captures the essence of the finalists and and all the other women who are making a difference in this country. All I have to say is thank you, for being an inspiration.

Isn't it just good to honour and acknowledge the works done by people who were once looked down upon? I think this is one of the remarkable competitions SA has.

A little acknowledgment really makes a huge difference and can realy encourage one to go even further.I'm humbled by this competition as it does not only recognise women but also offeres the platform for women to display their work and achievements, it also allows observers to partake in nominating and gaining the motivation to start or excell in addressing the community needs and thus deloping themself in the process. This competition teaches the world to celebrate and appreciate women achievers!

I've seen the worst scenario in other provinces but Eastern Cape is thee worst.I am very proud of the women like Mrs Thoko Mlonyeni who has been nominated in Sport. Not only does she excel in Sport the whole development. I was one of the volunteers in both the projects she is managing (AA 2006 SDP & Sisonke/ East London FBF). I am very proud to say I am of the best administrators any manager can have beacuse of her.Through AA 2006 SDP not only wanna- be coaches benefited but those who had a thing or two in administration ; First Aid and HIV & AIDS Peer Education & Counselling.

Ma'ka Mihlali no Junior these awards are for the country to recognise you but where we come from NU 2 & NU 5 knows who you are . You've made your mark . Your hoarse voice still echoes in our ears. You sacrificed a lot for the development of this country trying to change minds and attitudes of both adults and kids.I was there it was never easy.

To both the AA 2006 SDP & East London FBF families we all know how she struggled to make the difference.SHE WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST !

GOOD LUCK !

A very good work. Apart from bringing South African women and their contributions to great limelight a great ward like this encourages more contributions to the social and economic developments of South Africa from south African women.
Believe me the award is keeping me on my toes. I am not stopping.
Keep the good work up
